Tina hails from Sydney and initially wanted to be an anthropologist
before studying drama at the National Institute of Dramatic Art,
graduating in 1971. Tina began her career in musicals and stand-up
comedy, before developing her craft in more serious roles on stage. She
became a notable name with the Australian public when she starred in
the TV drama "Skyways", set in an airport, playing the cool blonde
administrator Louise Carter, and then reinvented her public persona
with a role in "Prisoner" as the scheming Sonia Stevens. Tina continues
to work in all media, consolidating her reputation as one of
Australia's best actresses.
