Earn points with Microsoft Rewards

Earn points toward rewards by doing the stuff you do every day. It's easy and it's free. All you need to do is sign up, and Microsoft Rewards will be included in your Microsoft account:

Once you've signed up, sign in to your Microsoft account to see your current points. You can also see your points total next to your account name on Bing.com.

How to earn Microsoft Rewards

Download the app

Track your points and earn while gaming or shopping by downloading the Microsoft Rewards app to your Xbox console:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Store.
Select Search, and then enter Microsoft Rewards into the search box.
Choose the Microsoft Rewards app from the results, and then download it to your console.

You can also view and turn in your Microsoft Rewards quests using the Xbox app on iOS or Android:

Note To complete Microsoft Rewards quests, you need an active Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Xbox Game Pass quests are a great way to earn points while playing games from the Xbox Game Pass library:

You can find and turn in daily, weekly, and monthly quests under Xbox Game Pass on console and under Profile in the Xbox app on your mobile device.
When you complete a quest, notifications will pop up on your Xbox console and on mobile device.

You can earn points by:

Buying games and other items from the Microsoft Store. Learn more about shopping to earn points:

Searching on Bing.com. Sign in and earn 5 points for every search.
Engaging with special offers on new releases.
Participating in daily and weekly quizzes on new releases.

What happened to Xbox Live Rewards and MyVIP Star Rank?

Xbox Live Rewards and your MyVIP Star Rank have been transferred over to the new Microsoft Reward programme. This transition took place on May 31st, 2018. If you had a MyVIP Star Rank in Xbox Live Rewards, you'll continue to earn similar benefits on eligible purchases and get automatic Level 2 status through December 31, 2023.
