More than a year after finally tying the knot, it looks like Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may be embarking on a new adventure together. According to what sources have told Life & Style, Gwen is currently expecting her fourth child — and her first with her country star husband.
Gwen and Blake have reportedly conceived a baby via IVF
According to what an insider told Life & Style in a recent edition of the print version of the magazine (via IB Times), Gwen had given up on IVF a long time ago before deciding to give it another shot, since she "wanted nothing more than to give Blake his own child."
But this time, it looks like it worked.
It may not have been an easy process
The source went on to claim that doctors encouraged Gwen to "give her body a rest," and on her last try, the procedure was finally successful, though it sounds like it was an emotional time all around.
"She'd get her hopes up after every round and get deflated when it didn't happen," the insider said. "She was so desperate to have a baby with Blake that she put pressure on herself, which was a lot for him to deal with, too. He hated seeing Gwen like that."
Gwen's reported baby is a girl
According to what friends have told the source who spoke with Life & Style, Gwen and Blake have already bought pink cowgirl boots and a matching hat, so it sounds like their baby-to-be might be a girl.
"Gwen and Blake are saying it's definitely a Christmas miracle that she finally got pregnant," the source said.
Fans thought they spotted a baby bump back in October
When Gwen walked the red carpet at the NYWICI Matrix Awards on October 26, there was speculation that she was sporting a baby bump. But despite the speculation, she never confirmed or denied that she's expecting, and so far, it seems like she and Blake are staying silent on the topic.
Gwen is already a mom of three
She and ex Gavin Rossdale have three children together: sons Kingston, 16, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 8. And while Blake is now officially their stepdad, he doesn't have any biological children of his own ... yet.
