Fun, unique themed retro-place that kids & adults will enjoy. Excellent, high-quality bar food, served quickly by courteous/friendly staff. Perfect place to stop before a show at the Pabst!

LOVED IT! We went to the Safe House after our daughters college graduation. It had been at least 10 years since we'd been there. And it was just as much fun with our young adults as it was when they were preteens. Actually -- it was better: there is something to be said for ordering a fish bowl (rum drink) for the table! Food was excellent, too. Our server could have been more attentive -- but since they add an automatic 20% gratuity on groups of 6+, she knew what she'd be getting.

First the good, the ambience was nice with the spy theme from the beginning & with our server. The food was served hot and quick. Food quality was okay, cheese curds were good but carne asada described in taco salad seemed to be ground beef so that was a bit disappointing. It was really quiet for a Friday night (around 7 pm) which was a bit surprising as I expected more people. Overall fun time.

Nacho meat was disgusting. Lettuce in the buffalo chicken wrap was wilted. Chips side for the chicken sandwich were small and broken. Almost like the bottom of the bag.

So- I’ve been in here before for drinks and someone asked to go here before a show. It was a weekday and they were not busy, but there was a small noisy crowd at the bar. Our food was brought and we had no silverware, had to take some off a nearby table cuz our server would disappear. Our server was super nice but got everything wrong, my burger had stuff on it I had asked to have off, one persons food came out cold like not warmed up at all, ordered something different cuz she was grossed out and the replacement wrap she ordered was obliviously delivered by the same server as a salad. Then we got charged for both meals and I finally had to track down a manager to get it fixed so we could get to our show. Never again.

The interior and theme was super fun. I enjoyed the magician most. Out table was cute. Waitress was nice. Unfortunately the food was just not good. We ordered cheseballs, fish tacos and pulled pork Mac and cheese. Everything was cold, greasy and bland. Even the French fries were terrible. 0/10 for the food.

Great speakeasy to meet up with friends and have a good time. Staff was all in and amplified the experience. The Bartender, Garrett, doubles as a magician and his performance was great!
