Very nice country pub with big beer garden. Food is very tasty, staff really friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back

My walking group enjoyed a delicious lunch in the homely restaurant area of the pub. Once our pre-ordered starters/mains were all paid for Shane and his team worked flat out to serve us in a prompt and professional manner. They were quick to respond to extra requests from various members of our group and the team kept a friendly attitude throughout the time we were there. We even had time to order desserts before setting off on the 2nd half of our ramble. I can recommend the Harrow Inn for a large group if you are able to send in an advanced order. The menu choice is very good and Shane commicated well with me in the lead up to visit our walk group made.

There was a very large walking group of us who had booked for 2pm lunch. The first few minutes felt like it was unorganised and chaotic. I didn't think we would be served very fast and as we'd booked prior with all our food orders seemed a great disappointment. HOWEVER, after these fraught minutes, it all went really smooth and was a wonderful time. we were served our drinks in timely manner and then the food came out which all looked amazing. Everyone on our table really enjoyed their meals which all looked fab and I wished I'd ordered but mine was lovely as well. Considering the size of our group, the staff were all really friendly and professional. Loved it

We popped in here for a quick lunch and it did not dissapoint - the food and service was spot on!
I can highly recommend the Crab Cake to start with - seriously delicious. All the food was cooked really well and super tasty.
We were served by Shane, and he was a delight! He was there when we needed him, but we never felt under pressure at all.
We will certainly be back soon :)

I have only scored this as a three due to the service charge. We visited on a Sunday and chose the fixed price carvery.
The carvery was excellent as were the waiting staff but when we received the bill an automatic service charge had been added which meant that the fixed price meal was not necessarily the price you paid!

I would also like to clarify for others reading your review. We do not apply hidden costs and am sorry about this misunderstanding. There is an optional 10% service charge applied to all tables of 8 or more, this is stated when booking online and on our in-house menus. As it is optional, it is our guests choice if they would like to pay this or ask the team to have it removed.
We are however taking your feedback on board and will be more proactive in the future about informing our guests of this as to not cause any further confusion.

We had a lovely lunch today in The Harrow, food was delicious and the coffee and mini desserts were amazing. Great atmosphere made all the better by the service. Nikki was fantastic, really attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.
