To avoid suspicion, it is good to announce your departure, then inform people along the route to the exit that you are simply leaving the store, but that you have made the perfectly rational decision not to purchase anything. It was simply an emotional curiosity to perhaps enter and explore, and you're not sure why you're really there now, so you are simply leaving.

Inform them, logically, that as you have not chosen anything to purchase, you will not be making a stop at the checkout counter, your intentions are simply to leave the store without delaying or detracting from the experience of the other customers or employees.

To best follow up on that, you should wish them a good day as you leave.
