New Order put on a fantastic series of show, I saw Friday and Saturday night, the acoustics were good but Bernard's voice was too low when he was talking, we couldn't hear his banter. I enjoyed the shows despite The Fillmore's issues. The stage is very low and you can’t see the performers from the floor, I am 5’9” and could not even see Bernard’s head without looking through my phone screen held in the air. Even in the raised seating area, you only see upper bodies of the band. Check in security was standard and safe, metal detector and bag check, organized and efficient. This is the last time I saw an employee of the venue. They have no seat ushers so everyone rushed to the front of general admission standing and the conditions were very crowded and unsafe. A few security guards who worked for a consultant not the theatre asked people to move. I said to where? I have a ticket, where can I see the show from? At least 3 guards shrugged their heads and said I don’t know. All of the seats were full by the time the show started. We heard a guard say the show was oversold. One of the guards repeatedly grabbed my shoulder and pushed me, I saw numerous other people being grabbed and pushed as well. We were told to stand on the stairs, then 10 minutes later interrupted and said no we couldn’t stand on the stairs by a different guard. There were over 100 people in this area and 1 guard would show up to move people. This is not how you handle a crowd. There was not one seat usher helping people to areas or seats. On the second night we found seats but there was still no one to help us. I asked at the front where they scanned our tickets where I could sit or stand, they said go to the left or right – only directing us to the main entrance to the theater which was hundreds of feet away. I have been to concerts for 30+ years and have never seen this lack of ushers and over zealous security. The crowds of people that were allowed to gather in stairs and egress areas would have caused the venue to shut down in New York or other cities. The Fillmore staff needs to attend concerts at other venues to learn proper procedures.

I had tickets to two of Camilo's shows at this venue a couple weeks ago and I was so thrilled to see my favorite artist at this venue because I saw how cute and small it was from pictures online. While the show itself was incredible, the venue ended up being extremely disappointing. I have been to literally 100's of concerts (big, small, all genres) in my life and I have NEVER been treated so poorly!! The ushers working the event were so unnecessarily rude and aggressively to myself and several others I saw. This particular woman usher was the worst of them all. She literally SHOVED me all the way to my seat even though I did not protest to her direction and was walking on my own. She also forcefully arm blocked me from walking to go to the restroom. She acted as if she was a bouncer at a rowdy night club and I was a rowdy drunk person giving her a hard time. I ended up getting so upset that I cried the whole 2nd half of the show and left early. I had been waiting years to see this concert and drove all the way to Miami and ended up having such a horrible experience. It was not the time and place for that kind of forceful ushering.

In addition to the poor treatment, the venue was so disorganized. The lines to get in went all the way down the street and the orchestra seating was laid out so flat that if you were not very tall, your view would be blocked. The seats I chose for the 2nd show were on the end and were chosen specifically because the Ticketmaster seating chart showed that there wouldn't be seats in front of me. We sit down and they add 3 extra seats to the row in front of us for more people to sit that weren't assigned there. I could hear the people complaining that were actually supposed to be on the end of that row. Also, prior to the show we called the venue to ask if we could bring a small sign and we were told we couldn't bring anything and yet we see multiple people with signs and flags in the venue… It is sad because the place has potential, but is ran so terribly that it's not worth seeing a show there. Spare yourself the disappointment unless you want to be shoved, blocked, and mislead.

I would go listen to nuns pray at the Fillmore. It's a privilege to see a show there. How about New Order, Iggy Pop, Pet Shop Boys? How about amazing chandeliers? Lots of them.

Fooled by the great marketing actions, I decided to book two tickets for the Moscow Ballet performing the Nutcracker.

Since the beginning, the lack or organization was visible. Long queues, no assistance from the staff and very tight timings.

I thought that the canned sound (and obviously no live music) was the worst I was gonna see but this was only the beginning.

The event was meant to start at 7pm and it started right away, but only with 30% of the spectators in their seats. During the following 45 minutes, people were walking to their seats, bothering us who were sit since 6:55pm and ruining the spectacle.

I’m sorry but there is a lack of education regarding art. It seemed I was attending a NBA event, people walking around during the whole event, eating fast food and taking pictures and recording videos... which was strictly forbidden.

Fillmore should take note and forbid this behavior.

We went to see ABBA THE CONCERT and the sound was terrible, if we didn’t know the lyrics we would have had a miserable time. The show was pretty basic, just a few lights and nothing, i mean nothing to recreate the 70’s atmosphere. The band was great and also the girls with their beautiful voices. Will not go back to this place for a music show.

Maybe it’s just me? Maybe not. When I attend a concert/ballet/opera/play don’t expect or want to see hundreds of full-brightness phone screens - videoing or better-texting, in my face! I don’t really expect to see people jumping over seats nor do I expect to see people constantly jumping up and down to wave and shout to mates or running in and out to get drinks!!!!!!!

Talking about people OVER the age of 35
Not kids!!!

I don’t expect to see ushers condoning the videoing of live performances and doing zero about it either!

So whilst I can tell you almost nothing about the ballet performance - apart from not having a live orchestra - I can tell you you that this was the most appalling waste of a half an hour of my family’s life! This includes getting there, parking attendant drama and leaving after 15 minutes!

The venue is very nice, the bar, the attendants except a guy called Terrence who was in charge of the orchestra section. This man has no manners and shouldn’t be working there. On the last song I went to get my mom and my aunt, who are elderly and can hardly walk and he wouldn’t let me get to them. I was trying to tell him that I was going to get them and he started screaming at me. Totally unacceptable!!! When I got to them, they are walking with canes, he was screaming at me that I had to leave. I wasn’t the only one complaining about him.
Don’t fire him but put him on the second level, he definitely can’t deal with VIPs nor with people that are paying a lot of money to be there.
I wouldn’t let him ruin my night!!!!

Saw a show there recently. The floor was General Admission. I had a fast pass entry. They were still selling fast passes at the box office on the day of the show. The fast pass line started on the right side of the building. The first door on the right was for the VIP entry. The second door (further down) was the fast pass line. They didn't let us stand by that door until around 4pm because they were setting up the VIP line. We met the manager of the venue who was super nice. They did do a bag check once they open the door. We did not go into the theater right away. We were held in line on a ramp just outside the theater door. They gave us a token as we came through the door. You could trade it in for a free drink (beer, wine, soda or water). You also have a chance to use the restroom. When they finally opened the theater door, the manage walked everyone in slowly through the one door. He lead us down another ramp, but some impatient fans did not follow him and ran to another center entrance. The people at the front of the line following the manager still got to the barricade first.

Worst concert ever. Don’t even know wheee to begin it was so bad. First, bought tickets with a showtime of 8p. Then it changed to 1030p and she didn’t start until 1115p. Seriously? And it must have been 80° inside. There was no air conditioning or fans. Just stagnant hot air. We were in the center orchestra section and the stage was so low you could see her or anything going on on stage. She talked more than she sang and when she was “singing” it wasn’t even her. Madonna doesn’t have a great singing voice. She’s an incredible entertainer, but tonight, it was neither. I’ve never been more disappointed. She’s finally lost her mind.
