This is a review for art schools near Elmhurst, IL:
"What a wonderful afternoon at DIT!! During COVID, call/email ahead for a private appointment and send in images before you arrive. We had two adults and three kids (8, 9 and 12). Adrian had everything setup and even let the kids pick what music to listen to on Alexa (Hamilton!) The studio is cozy and well-stocked with supplies. Adrian is super talented and also a patient, fun, accommodating, creative and encouraging guide to crafting. He walked us through the almost-two-hour process of making our own, unique wooden signs-- from sanding, staining, pressing patterns, choosing colors and painting. We had a great time and came away with beautiful art. And for the very, very reasonable cost, I'm surprised there are any openings this winter. Run to DIT!!"
