Looks like it's been fixed. I wonder if they're just planning to cancel/refund this one or if they are going forward with it somewhere else.
There were users on the discord speculating that this was being used as a benchmark for the new plant, which makes some sense.
It would have been used by customers to compare the plant to QRP. VMP had quite a few represses in the works that had originally been done elsewhere (Blue Note, Grateful Dead, Afro, Explorations, etc.)
Yeah, I could see the demand for those titles remaining strong even though they are no longer being pressed at the plant.
I would guess demand for this one dropped after the news. No idea though
It’s a fantastic comp. I got the QRP version from a secret Santa. Was curious to compare the two pressings but now will never have a chance!
