Unlocking z10 - Code Calculator
Hi
I'm somewhat new to the blackberry 10 os and the z10 but a long time blackberry owner. I was issued a z10 at work a few months ago and I liked it so much i decided to get one as my personal phone to replace my bold 9900.
Anyway I had a blackberry unlock code calculator which I used on my bold however my hard drive died and I didn't have it backed up. Is there anyone who knows where I could find the calculator to unlock my new z10? I've done some searching but didn't find anything.
Sorry if there is an obvious answer to this...

AT&T's New Unlock Policies
Bob --
That was both rude and presumptuous. I've also been a long-term AT&T customer, and when I called to have my z10 unlocked (and mind, they've unlocked every previous phone I've had before this one without problem/concern -- I work abroad a lot) five days ago, they told me they had new policies:
1. Unlocks can only be requested from the website https://forums.crackberry.com/e?link...token=wz1gzGu6
2. Only phones that are not under contract can be unlocked, unless you wish to pay an early termination fee; so I can't unlock my bb with them until July 2015.
Not sure if this is related to their new International Calling Plans (which are, as one would expect, highway robbery -- $2/minute for in-country calls!!!), but I had a devil of a time even getting anyone on the phone to help when the online form wouldn't even recognize my IMEI number. They eventually opened up a case for my phone to try to resolve the issue, but ultimately declined to unlock it for the reason cited above -- my contract isn't up yet.
So clearly this is now AT&T's approach -- and has nothing to do with anyone's account being "flagged."
I've also just tried a QPU code, but it's not working; let's see if they can help by email. I'm not really inclined to buy a new phone once I arrive in-country in a few days, but I'm certainly not going to pay $2/minute to make in-country calls anywhere. That's disgusting.
