Father of legendary actor, James Byron Dean. Mr. Dean was a native of Fairmount, IN where he was born on January 17, 1907, a son of Charles and Emma Woolen Dean.
In 1910 the 2 year old was at Fairmount with family and an older cousin.[1]
In 1920 Winton was living at home with his family at Fairmount.[2]
