How far is Scottsdale from Phoenix?

Scottsdale and Phoenix are neighboring cities in Arizona, with Scottsdale located just northeast of Phoenix. The distance between the two cities varies depending on the specific locations within each city, but typically, the distance from downtown Scottsdale to downtown Phoenix is approximately 10 to 15 miles, which could be about a 20- —to 30-minute drive, depending on traffic conditions.
