Biography
Albrecht Friederich Hohenzollern was a member of the aristocracy in Europe.
Albert Frederick (German: Albrecht Friedrich, Polish: Albrecht Fryderyk) was Duke of Prussia from 1568 until his death. He was a son of Albert of Prussia and Anna Marie of Brunswick-Lüneburg. He was the second and last Prussian duke of the Ansbach branch of the Hohenzollern family.
Albrecht became Duke of Prussia by paying tribute to, and swearing an oath of loyalty to, the King of Poland. Prussia was under Polish rule until 1714. Albrecht was removed from the duchy early due to a mental disorder.
