About
TimberTop Adventures is one of Canada’s largest treetop aerial adventure parks and is located in beautiful Dominion Park, only 10 minutes from Uptown Saint John. Our park, nestled in a breathtaking, old-growth forest next to the sandy shores of Dominion Park beach, features 12 courses, with over 115 obstacles including over 29 zip line challenges. Our courses range from beginner all the way up to one of North America’s most challenging triple black diamonds, and everything in between. We offer something for nearly everyone from ages 5 to 85! Our use of the latest in continuous lifeline technology, full body harnesses and helmets as well as being built to the tougher European standards, also makes us one of North America’s safest.

My two kids (8 y.o; and 11 y.o) and I went to TimberTop Aventures for the first time yesterday and will definitely be back! My kids kept saying on the way home "that was an awesome day!" From a safety standpoint it was great - they have a great orientation session; a locking carabiner system; helmets provided and required; and knowledgeable staff. We loved that there were many options at all levels which meant we were not usually waiting behind another group - we could just go pick another route to try - a huge bonus with kids who aren't the most patient sometimes :). The routes were also well done, with a huge variety of obstacles and lots and lots of ziplines! And, the best part was the staff - they were amazing! From the friendly chats during the time we were getting our equipment on; to the supportive and encouraging wording during the 3 hours of play; to their attentiveness during the whole time (we've been to other places where the staff did not look like they wanted to be there so you felt like you couldn't bother them with questions or ask for help - that wasn't the case here!). For example, there was only 20 minutes left when my 8 y.o. needed the bathroom in the middle of a course; we asked for help and within minutes a staff person was there to safely lower her down, and then came back to find her to tell her she should get on the end of the course as it was the best zipline (Thanks Adele!). There was no feeling of being rushed even though there was only a few minutes left before closing. They were also super supportive of my 11 y.o. safely pushing his limits and getting on the challenging courses. He loved it and was thrilled to have the opportunity! Top notch attraction with top notch staff.

My friend and I had a great time challenging ourselves with some of the levels of TimberTop. It was great exercise and as stubborn women with bad knees ,bad ankles, asthma and more than a few extra pounds ; it was doable- not all of it -but we’ll do those next year!

Our second time going to TimberTop and even better than the last! Hannah and Leroy were outstanding and helped us feel at ease during our stay. A momma and three 9 year old girls were a lot to handle but the staff was reassuring, encouraging and so kind.

I reached out to Timbertop due to my partner winning a bet. He loves ziplining, and I had to go with him - however, I have a mental disability as well as acrophobia. Through emails back and forth, Timbertop was understanding of my conditions and walked me very carefully through every step. Once getting to our booked time, we were greeted with the friendliness of Hannah and other staff members. Leroy personally took my partner and myself under his wing. He put us through the training and stayed with us every step. He demonstrated how safe the harnesses were and informed us on everything he used to help build Timbertop. Through positive reinforcement and encouragement, I was able to do all three yellow courses, which I never thought I would ever be able to do. By the end of the 3rd course, I was much more confident.
Now - the next day my arms sure did hurt from ziplining, but if we didn't already have other things booked for the next few days of vacation we would have been back the next day because the experience is addicting.
I will be going back again next time I'm in the area and I highly recommend you do too.
Leroy and the staff at Timbertop are amazing! Ty and I have never experienced customer service so wonderful before, we thank you all once again! See you next season!

We loved our time at Timber top adventures! The staff was just amazing. My daughter (9) was scared a few times and Leroy joined her and walked through them with her. Loved everything about our experience, and the location is beautiful, the girls visited the beach next door after our adventure.

This is a hidden gem of a spot in Dominion Park Saint John. I took my 12 year old and 15 year old grandchildren who have never participated in anything like this before. They both had a fabulous time and are already asking to go back. We were there for 3/12 hours and only managed to complete 4 of the 12 available courses. Each course is so unique in its design and level of difficulty. The staff were nothing short of amazing; they were knowledgeable and very helpful and supportive.

Is this something we can get to easily from the cruise port?
davidalston
Saint John, Canada11 contributions
Thanks for the question. Assuming taxis are readily available, we are only a 15 minute ride from the cruise terminal. Usually it’s easier to find a taxi at the terminal because many are gathered there on cruise day so ideally you’d just need to arrange for the return ride in advance with the driver or the taxi company. It would be important to do this as demand for taxis on call during cruise days does go up substantially from what we’ve heard.

What do you bring?
TimberTopAdventures
Saint John, Canada505 contributions
Thanks for the great question. Here’s what we tell customers to make sure to bring:
1. Pre-Signed Waivers
At TimberTop, everyone under the age of 19 must have a parent/guardian sign the waiver online in order to soar and climb. It’s a great idea to get your waivers done in advance but there are also iPads here at the office to do them onsite if you forget or don’t have time in advance.
2. A Government-Issued Photo ID
When you arrive, you exchange your ID for the safety equipment your group needs, and when you return the gear at the end of an exciting visit, your ID is returned. At least one person in your group should bring one.
3. Full Coverage Footwear
This ensures that your shoes don’t fly off and hit someone down below while you’re up in the courses.
4. Gloves
These are mandatory; we recommend work or fingerless athletic gloves. If you don’t have your own, we sell them for $3.50 for youth and adults, or $2 for children.
5. Arrive 30 Minutes Early
Maybe someone will need to use the facilities, or have a quick snack, get harnessed, or do a quick outfit change. Regardless of the delay, we want to make sure that you’re 100% ready to go, and on time. Arriving early makes this all possible.
6. Ready to have lots of fun in the forest!
