Wyoming held an election for governor on November 8, 2022. The primary was scheduled for August 16, 2022. The filing deadline was May 27, 2022. This was one of 36 gubernatorial elections that took place place in 2022. The governor serves as a state's top executive official and is the only executive office that is elected in all 50 states. At the time of the 2022 elections, there were 28 Republican governors and 22 Democratic governors. Heading into the 2022 elections, there were 23 Republican trifectas, 14 Democratic trifectas, and 13 divided governments where neither party held trifecta control. There were 23 Republican triplexes, 18 Democratic triplexes, and nine divided governments where neither party held triplex control.

Women should have all rights to their bodies & everyone should have universal health care.

Schools should have project based education and should be fun. Happy students & teachers will bring about greatness to our younger generation that will make our country a better place for all..

We need more mental health care and rehibilation instead of jail time. These social cares will make wyoming a great place to live.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Quality of life in all aspects. We are the "equality state" so we need to assure that all laws back up that policy. Freedom of choice of who we are is a great start. We need to get rid of our "right to work" state status. This is really bad for workers. We need a lot of change in our thinking. We keep trying the same stuff over & over which is the definition of insanity. There are things to improve our economy like tourism, outdoor recreation, & lots of historical sites to visit. I want our younger generations to be more involved in our state's government. We need students on our school boards. They are really smart & should be helping us choose the best for our schools. Kids need recess & PE & music & art & dance & fun activities. This will give them a passion for learning. Also, we need project-based education.

My mental health. I never felt wanted or a viable part of anything until I was in the military. I didn't feel like I was listened to or that my ideas had value.

Better yet, things my kids said about signs. There are lots of them out there & some of them are pretty funny.

From my daughter. She saw a sign that said, "Loose stock on road." She asked me if it meant that they were cows without morals.

From my son. They used to call engine brakes, Jake Brakes." The sign said jake brakes prohibited. My son wanted to know "who is Jake Brakes and why does nobody like him?
