Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio is the renowned actor who portrayed Jack Dawson in the 1997 Film Titanic, directed by James Cameron. He co-starred alongside Kate Winslet as the young Rose DeWitt Bukater.
Early Life[]
Leonardo was born in November 11th, 1974 to Irmelin & George DiCaprio in Los Angeles, California. He first appeared on a TV series "Parenthood" as Garry Buckman in 1990 and in a movie called "Critters 3" in 1991 as Josh. He starred in several other films until he became a household name with his portrayal as Jack Dawson in James Cameron's Titanic in 1997.
Incident in 2005[]
In 2005, DiCaprio's face was severely damaged when model Aretha Wilson slammed his head with a broken bottle at a Hollywood party. As a result of this, he required 17 stitches to his face and neck. Wilson pleaded guilty to the assault and was sentenced in 2010 to two years in prison.
