Love At the Christmas Table
One of my favorite holiday movies ever. I saw its television premier because of Danica Mckellar and loved it. She's great in it. And I love Lea Thompson. I watch this every December. Love seeing the cute tradition of the leads using the little table to eat on and play under. Reminds me of when I was 5 or 6.

I have loved this movie since I first saw it many years ago. I've each Christmas season to watch it. This year I couldn't find anywhere to watch until I found it on Amazon and had the opportunity to buy it so I jumped on the chance to buy it and I am so happy I've watched it several times even though it's not Christmas still.

I have loved "Love at the Christmas Table" for a lot of years. Since I believe it probably won't come on much longer, I decided to purchase it. It was reasonably priced and now I can enjoy it for many years. Thank you, Amazon.

Sweet love story that progresses as the years go by. I enjoy it and it's a must on my Christmas movie list.

I'm not a typical Hallmark viewer (I'm male, heterosexual and under 50) But I really enjoyed this film! The acting is solid, the chemistry between the two leads is strong, and the story line is endearing. My only gripe is that some of the "flashback" scenes were either missing key elements, too short, or too drawn out. They did not edit those the best they could. Danica McKellar gives a very moving performance as "Kat" the cute girl next door who is passed over year after year by her good friend Sam as a love interest because he has "bigger plans"

The ending is predictable but still compelling. Not only that, but the factory churn out of Hallmark/LifeTime movies is so cookie cutter, you could replace one film with another. Yet this movie had quite a few memorable scenes- including the dancing scene, the fork in the thigh, and the high intensity argument leading to the couple being reunited at the end. I also related the story since the characters follow the ages of being in their early 30s around the year 2010 and have known each other since they were toddlers. Very watchable, and I have actually watched it several times in a row.

I have been watching 'Schitt's Creek,' the clever Eugene Levy comedy. When I started watching this movie, I saw Dustin Milligan and my immediate response was, 'Hello, Ted!' His portrayal of the vet on the Creek show is so sweet, he's one of my favorite characters there.

So, of course, I had to watch all of this movie. I'm glad I did. This Miss Havisham reference is a little heavy-handed as a plot device, but even with that, it's a well-written and well-acted romcom, swear-free! There might be a swear jar lurking in the background of the writer's room to account for that. If so, I'm glad it's there. This is a family-friendly movie that does not have THAT much to do with Christmas but half of the movie sparkles with twinkling Christmas lights, it seems. Playing games, drinking nog, dancing or at least listening to music, all the things that are familiar around the holiday - everything important happens in the context of 'home for Christmas.'

Danica McKellar is also good in this movie, as is Lea Thompson. Some of the other actors are very familiar but not as well-known. They should be! This crowd of friends and family is very convincing. I'll be watching this during the Christmas season for sure.

I personally loved this movie. I realize it's only a movie but don't we all really wish we could have a romance like this? I think their romance and the love that they had for each other was amazing. It was absolutely beautiful. These days, you don't see a lot of men go out of their way the way that he did for her to know how much he loved her. I mean honestly, how many guys would build a girl an entire cardboard home complete with real and drawb on furnishings? This story is so beautiful and I love it. Maybe it shows my romantic side, but I wish I had a girl that I was in love with that much to do something like this for her. Any girl that you are truly in love with deserves things like this and so much more. To anyone that watches this movie and is single: May we all find a man/woman that we love as much or even more as these to characters loved each other.

This movie is about two people who find true love. The movies start with the two as kids and through the years are best friends, The son goes to University and she stays home and he comes home once a year at Christmas. A love triangle that love could find the way.
Good family movie. I see this on TV last year and when I say that this movie came out I had to buy it. Good movie to add to your Christmas collection.
