Abby's Sixteen Wishes are the secret birthday wishes Abby wanted to come true by the time she turns sixteen years old. On her b-day, she received birthday candles and a matchbox. The wishes are granted whenever Abby blows on each of the candles after being lit by a match because the candles correspond with Abby's wishlist. However, the candles have their own logic and sometimes give the user what they need rather than what they want, according to Celeste. Abby can only blow on a single candle once for one hour at a time. Additionally, all of the wishes are permanent after midnight and are unable to be granted at midnight due to the magic expiring. The user cannot take their wish back unless there is a do-over wish as well. Also, even though Abby wished to beat Krista at everything, she couldn't see that Jay's wallet had been picked up by her, allowing Krista to have them removed from the store. By the end of the film, Abby literally kisses the list goodbye because she doesn't want it anymore.
