Synopsis

Seiichi Osabe is an only child living a mundane life. Just like any middle schooler, he has friends, a crush on a girl, and loving parents. However, Seiichi's mother is extremely overprotective, which causes others to view him as a mama's boy.

Although he does not consider her behavior to be unusual, a certain incident starts to open his eyes to just how dangerous her affection is. As Seiichi tries to break free from her grasp, he learns that his life is not as normal as he thought.

Literally, physically painful for me to read in many places. Having known people who have experienced abuse (and having known people who are abusers), it felt very real. After a harrowing night when I soldiered my way through the entire thing in one sitting a friend asked what the point of it was - who knows if he meant the point of subjecting myself to it or the point of the series. Chi no Wadachi, or Blood on the Tracks, is a story that's honestly left me perplexed. When it came out, it was a solid 8/10 manga which I read regularly given how intriguing each chapter ended up being. However, over time I feel the story lost meaning and the pacing was not good enough especially considering the stellar start it had.

Chapters and volumes here are irrelevant, but i think i stopped when the kid grew up to a beta male.
I really hate these kind of "Psychological" type manga, because no one really understands the genre, maybe i am one of those, but this is boring, lame slop. To the point that you can predict that these chracters will never become dynamic in any way. Just look at the mom, static as hell.
