I left my work iPhone on a bus. I know it eventually made it back to the bus depot but they only hold it for a day before it gets sent to the main bus company lost property.
This is fine. To get it back I have to fill out a lost property enquiry form with them. They want the IMEI number of the phone and it won’t let me continue with the form without it. However I don’t know this and when I try to log into iCloud. Com ( I have a different one for my work phone) it won’t let me log in without a code that has been sent to my (lost) phone.
Any way around this?
I can request a new one through work but it involved an hour of sitting with IT setting it all up so if I can just track it down that would be better

Your cell service provider has it. It’s what identifies the phone on their network.
Can you just log in to find my not full iCloud. This should allow you without the device if I recall correctly (lost my phone many years ago)
I can get on it but it doesn’t give me IMEI number
Ahh that’s annoying. Just about every single other connected app gives you the IMEI. Only other thing I can think is visiting an Apple Store if one is close by.
Do you still have the box that came in?
Go to applied.apple.com sign in and select devices. Click on your device and it should give you the imei number
www.iCloud.com/find - will allow you to log in w/o the TOTP generated by one of your devices. Unsure if you can find IMEI though. But it’s on receipt, on box, Apple Store should be able to find it (you), etc.
