Michael Wilmington Los Angeles Times Full of sound, gunfire, fury and scorchingly beautiful landscapes, Young Guns 2 generates more sheer visual excitement than any Western since Peckinpah and Leone were in their last '70s prime. Nov 2, 2021 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly As the movie goes on, a couple of the Regulators are gunned down, and all it really stirred in me was a wish that they not be reunited in that big valley in the sky for Young Guns III. Rated: C Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Variety Staff Variety Although it's more ambitious than most sequels, Young Guns II exhausts its most inspired moment during the opening credits and fades into a copy of its 1988 predecessor -- a slick, glossy MTV-style western. Mar 26, 2009 Full Review Douglas Davidson Elements of Madness The cast is strong, delivering performances that always feel honest and in the moment, thereby making the violence that they must enact and endure all the more tense for us, as well as them. Dec 5, 2023 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) The film is not really bad, but it is not very good either. [Full review in Spanish] Nov 30, 2022 Full Review Helen Knode L.A. Weekly Young Guns II is a bad movie, too, but bad in an uninteresting way. Nov 2, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Todd K I loved Emilio Estevez portrayal of Billy the kid. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Adam P I loved Young Guns II. The first film works as a great stand alone and so does the second. The sequel, going the route of Brushy Bill, adds that perfect amount of mystery and wonder. A Great cast who work well together with a very good storyline. One of the few good sequels of the era. A Classic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/15/24 Full Review Jeremiah W Since the 90's this has always been one of my favorite westerns. The cast is perfect and has exceptional energy and chemistry. Vale apena assistir? Matar saudades. Nota: 6 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/03/23 Full Review Jefferson S Great movie with a classical soundtrack. 9 out of 10. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/22/23 Full Review Pete S An all-star cast about the story of Bushy Bill Roberts, the man who could have never been the Kid. A great movie with great acting that isn't full of CGI but full of story, if you're a western fan this is definitely one to watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/22 Full Review Read all reviews
