Netflix has canceled the Kyle Chandler drama
Get ready to say goodbye to the Rayburns. Netflix has canceled Bloodline.
The streaming service renewed the family drama in July, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, the 10-episode third season will be Bloodline's last.
Series creators Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler and Daniel Zelman have previously said that they planned on doing five or six seasons of Bloodline. However, the Kyle Chandler drama might have proved too expensive to produce after Florida recently cut its entertainment tax incentives program.
Here's what's new on Netflix in September
This is only the third time Netflix has ever pulled the plug on an existing series, following the cancellations of Lilyhammer and Hemlock Grove, both of which also lasted three seasons.
Bloodline's third season will premiere in 2017. Will you miss it?
