- Been listening to The Tea Party's version of "The Messenger" for years and only realizing today that it's a Lanois cover. Mind blown!
- This really is, such wonderful and spellbinding music. And Jeri Heiden's cover art also, is so striking. I like it because the lady has such nice boobs, and they remind me of my lovely girlfriend's knockers. But the knife that she is holding looks a bit sharp and frightening though!!
- My European CD edition comes with a second CD Single contain two unreleased songs:
1. Rain weather (Inédit)
2. Elle est bonne et belle (Inédit)

1993 WEA INT. INC. - Lanois' second album is an all-out effort supplanting 1989's 'Acadie' and oozes of genius all the way to the end. From the haunting beats of 'The Messenger', to the anthemic Robbie Robertson sounding gem 'Still Learning To Crawl' to the chart topping 'Lotta Love To Give', Lanois proves that he's not only the magnetic, highly in-demand producer (of U2 and Peter Gabriel fame) but a world-class singer/songwriter and musician. Undoubtedly the most genial album of 1993 not only pushes the Acadian feel of his 1989 debut but draws from the beats and harmonies of Louisiana, Africa and parts unknown.
