The 1% Club is back on our screens tonight with another 100 contestants competing to win up to £100,000 - but how often can you answer the final question? We've rounded up every final question - the hardest ones that only 1% of the popular are supposed to be able to answer - that has been on the show so far during series three.

The popular ITV quiz show, hosted by Lee Mack, sees the questions get progressively trickier. Rather than standard knowledge questions you can learn at school or find out in a book, the questions on the show are based on logic.

Players start off with a question 90% of the public got right, but get harder as the game progresses, all down to a question that only 10 people in 1,000, or 1%, got right. And you only get 30 seconds to lock in your answer.

Clint was given the chance to answer the question just for fun, and he made the right decision to walk away as he told Lee he had 'not a clue'.

Episode 3

Four remaining players made it through to the final question - and all chose to play on. But it was a disastrous round as three admitted they hadn't even submitted an answer and one answered incorrectly.

The winners split £94k between them, meaning they took home £18,800 each.

The question was: Starting on 25, the middle square, SEEN takes you to square 27. From there, NEW takes you to 20. From there, which square does SEWN take you to? There was then a grid showing the numbers 1 to 49.

The answer: So the words SEEN snd SEWN refer to directions on a compass, South, East, North and West. If you follow those directions around the grid, you'll come to 20.

Episode 5

Both Maisie and Alex chose not to gamble and answer the 1% question for a shot at £100,000. They both left with £5,000 each instead.

The question was: "Given that: 0+100 =100, 1+99 = 100, 2+98 =100, What is the sum of all the whole numbers between zero and 100?"

Maisie and Alex both guessed 5000, but both got the answer wrong.

The answer: The answer was actually 5050. Lee explained: "There are 50 pairs that total 100 (0&100, 1&99, 2&98 etc.). That makes 5000, but there is also the number 50 in the middle, that is not in a pair but also needs to be counted, giving a total of 5050."

Episode 6

Five players made it through to the 1% question - and all decided to face it. That decision didn't work out too well for the remaining contestants though as none managed to get it right.

Jamaica + Japan = 124

Argentina + Armenia + 1245

France + Brazil = 23

England + Germany = ??

The answer: The numbers are the positions of any shared letters...e.g Argentina and Armenia share the 1st, 2cnd, 4th and 5th letters. So England and Germany is 56, for the A and the N.
