This CD includes the great duets done by ("These Boots Are Made For Walkin'", the daughter of Frank Sinatra) Nancy Sinatra, and close friend (possible lover? Writer of the "Boots" song, Lee Hazlewood).
This is a collection of some of the greatest music of the '60s era. Like her father, Nancy Sinatra is also very talented (as well as beautiful), but has become a star on her own terms. Not wanting to be just known as "Daddy's little girl," when "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" hit radio waves in 1966, along with the trademark style set by Nancy really stirred up controversy. She would go on to release some of the greatest, overlooked, underrated music that's ever been recorded.
Throughout her singing career in the '60s, Nancy did a number of songs alongside her close friend, song-writer Lee Hazlewood. The combination of their voices is unique and unforgettable. The same goes for their duets. This CD features a highly acclaimed cover of the Johnny Cash / June Carter Cash hit "Jackson", the mysterious "Some Velvet Morning", and the western tale-styled song "Summer Wine".
This is a great album that is now sadly out of print. But, you can find these songs on other Nancy Sinatra albums being sold (on Amazon.com, for instance).
