The investigation into a woman's body discovered behind a Grain Valley home is revealing gruesome details.Police were led to the home in the 4000 block of South Buckner Tarsney Road after key testimony from a girl in her early teens who was allegedly sexually abused by the defendants.Maggie Ybarra faces seven felony counts of child sex crimes and other charges. Michael Hendricks, 40, faces three sex crimes.According to court documents, the teen told police that "Maggie showed her photographs on a cellphone of a female with her hands tied, naked and gagged."The teen said Ybarra, Hendricks and the woman "were all sleeping together and Ybarra said that Hendricks 'choked her to death' and put her in the freezer," court records said.The teen was shown pictures of the woman's body and was told where the body was.Detectives took cadaver dogs to Hendricks' home in Grain Valley, where dogs located blood on a circular saw and in a bathroom located in the outbuilding/ helicopter hanger.In court documents, Ybarra told police that she was a past drug user and prostitute and that her boyfriend and boss was Hendricks. The two had known each other for a year and a half.This week, police identified the human remains at the Grain Valley home as those of Kensie Renee Aubry, 32, who was reported missing in October 2020.Ybarra and Hendricks have court dates scheduled for Tuesday. Neither has been charged yet in the homicide case, but court records indicate they are "the target of a homicide investigation."Hendricks is a software developer and network design engineer. He runs a local company that employs 25 people.
