| Dewey, Mary Jane; of Orion; age 82; passed away February 22, 2008. Mary Jane is the beloved wife of Ed. Together they Jane have three sons, Dan, Dave (Diane), the late Bill (Cindy), and a daughter Linda. They are also the proud grandparents of nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary Jane and Ed met while attending Pontiac Central High School. Ed joined the Army and served overseas three years in World War II. After returning, Ed married Mary Jane Dandison on November 30, 1945 at her parents' home in Orchard Lake. Recently they just celebrated 62 years of marriage. During that time Mary Jane was a member and worked for 40 years as the secretary of Joslyn Avenue Presbyterian Church. She was also a very active volunteer in the community. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joslyn Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1106 Joslyn Avenue, Pontiac, 48340 |
