Matilda Gregson
Matilda Gregson, nicknamed Tilda or Matty, lived near Stegmoor.
Biography[[edit]]
Matilda was the daughter of Daniel and Phillipa Gregson, who owned holiday homes in England. She knew of her father's headaches, which her mother did not like to talk to about, and she began to suffer from them as well, although she tended not to tell her mother so as not to worry her. Her father died from unrelated reasons.
By 2017, Matilda was in a romantic relationship with Lilly, something that she kept secret from her mother. That year, she escaped the flood at Stegmoor but incorrectly believed that Lilly had been killed. She and her mother met the Eighth Doctor, Liv Chenka and Helen Sinclair and, with Liv, encountered Ishtek in the road. The Gregsons learnt the truth of the Voord spaceship and the van Cassadine energy that caused the headaches.
Once the Voord were dealt with, Matilda openly hugged Lilly upon learning that she was alive. Her mother told her that their relationship was obvious and gave her blessing before they watched the TARDIS dematerialise. (AUDIO: Beachhead)
