JASON BATEMAN is one of the most in-demand talents in Hollywood for his skill both in front of and behind the camera. From his work on OZARK behind the small screen, Bateman, together with the other show producers, was recently nominated for the ‘Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television’ by the Producers Guild of America. In 2018, Bateman partnered with producer and executive Michael Costigan and together they set Aggregate Films in a first-look, multiyear deal with Netflix to generate both film and television projects. Bateman currently stars in OZARK, a Netflix drama series produced by MRC and Bateman’s own production banner, Aggregate Films. Bateman serves as executive producer and a director on the series, which debuted its first 10-episode season on Netflix in July 2017, and launched its second season on August 31, 2018. The story follows financial planner Marty Bird, who suddenly relocates from a Chicago suburb to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks when a money laundering scheme goes wrong, and who must pay off a debt to a Mexican drug lord. Laura Linney, Julia Garner, and Michael Mosley co-star. Season 3 released on March 27, 2021. The fourth and final season will be split into two parts. Bateman guest starred as ‘Terry Maitland’ and served as the director in the first two episodes of the HBO series, THE OUTSIDER. Additionally, he was an executive producer of the entire series under his Aggregate Films production company and MRC. Based on Stephen King's best-selling novel of the same name, the story follows a straightforward investigation of a gruesome murder of a young boy; however, when an insidious supernatural force edges its way into the case, it leads a seasoned cop and an unorthodox investigator to question everything they believe in. The series premiered on January 12, 2020. Upcoming, Bateman will serve as an executive producer on the Netflix romantic-comedy film, YOUR PLACE OR MINE, produced by Hello Sunshine, Lean Machine, and his Aggregate Films production company. Written and directed by Aline Brosh McKenna, the feature will follow two long-distance best friends who change each other’s lives when she decides to pursue a lifelong dream and he volunteers to keep an eye on her teenage son. Under his Aggregate Films banner and with Costigan as his partner, Bateman will serve as an executive producer on the drama series, LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY.  Written and executive produced by Susannah Grant (“Erin Brockovich”), the project is based on the upcoming debut novel from Bonnie Garmus and will follow ‘Elizabeth Zott’ (Brie Larson) in the 1960s, whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a society deeming that women belong in a domestic sphere and not the professional one. Larson will also serve as an executive producer. The show landed a straight-to-series order at Apple TV+ and is slated to release in the Spring of 2022. Further, Bateman and Costigan will serve as executive producers on the eight-episode Netflix series, FLORIDA MAN under their Aggregate Films banner. Created by Donald Todd, who will also serve as an executive producer, the story will follow struggling former police officer (Edgar Ramírez) who is compelled to return to his home state of Florida to find a Philadelphian mobster’s runaway girlfriend. The project stems from Aggregate’s first-look deal with the streaming platform. Additionally, alongside Michael Costigan, Bateman is the executive producer on FX’s upcoming drama series, A TEACHER, under his Aggregate Films production banner, which star Kate Mara and Nick Robinson. Directed and created by Hannah Fiddell, the 10-episode limited series is an adaptation of her 2013 independent film, and will explore the story behind a female high school teacher caught in an affair with her male student, revealing the complexities and consequences of their relationship. The series launched in November 2020. This January, it was announced that the show was named FX on Hulu’s ’s most-watched original series.    Bateman also gained critical acclaim for his irreverent portrayal of Michael Bluth in ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, created by Mitch Hurwitz, which aired for three seasons on FOX. In 2013, Netflix premiered a 14-episode return of the cult favorite, for which Bateman reprised his role, and he is currently starring in the fifth season of the series which launched on Netflix in May 2018. Upcoming, Bateman has a supporting role in the Netflix Original film THUNDER FORCE, opposite Melissa McCarthy, who will also serve as a producer, and Octavia Spencer. The story follows two best friends who become an unlikely crime-fighting superhero duo after one invents a formula that gives ordinary people superpowers. The film is set to release on April 9, 2021. In February 2018, Bateman starred in Warner Bros.’ GAME NIGHT opposite Rachel McAdams, Jesse Plemons, and Kyle Chandler. Directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the film follows a group of friends whose game night turns into a murder mystery and was also executive produced by Aggregate Films. The year before, Bateman starred in OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY, a holiday comedy from Paramount Pictures, alongside Jennifer Aniston, TJ Miller, Olivia Munn, and Kate McKinnon. In May 2016, Bateman directed the indie drama THE FAMILY FANG, in which he also starred opposite Nicole Kidman. Based on the Kevin Wilson bestseller, the comedy tells the tale of two performance artists whose kids blame them for how badly their lives turned out. “The Family Fang” premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and was released theatrically by Starz. The film was produced under Aggregate Films. In March 2016, Bateman lent his voice to Disney’s Oscar® and Golden Globe®-winning animated feature ZOOTOPIA as Nick Wilde, a red fox con artist who forms an unlikely partnership with a rabbit police officer (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) to uncover a conspiracy involving the disappearance of savage predator inhabitants of a mammalian metropolis. The film opened to critical acclaim and worldwide box office success, grossing over $1 billion. In August 2015, Bateman starred alongside Joel Edgerton and Rebecca Hall in THE GIFT, an American-Australian psychological thriller film written, produced and directed by Edgerton. The previous year, Bateman also starred in Shawn Levy’s THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU, opposite Tina Fey, Rose Byrne, and Adam Driver. In March 2014, Bateman made his directorial debut with the dark comedy BAD WORDS, in which he also starred. The film tells the story of a spelling bee loser who sets out to exact revenge by finding a loophole and attempting to win as an adult. BAD WORDS had its world premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and its U.S premiere the 2014 SXSW Film Festival, and was released by Focus Features.  In February 2013, Bateman co-starred with Melissa McCarthy in IDENTITY THIEF, directed by Seth Gordon. Sean Hayes, who received critical acclaim for his roles in theater, television and film, quickly gained fame as the sarcastic and hilarious, Jack McFarland, on NBC’s “Will & Grace.” The iconic role has earned Hayes an Emmy Award (as well as six additional nominations). The series has earned a total of 18 Emmys and 91 nominations. Hayes has also won four Screen Actors Guild Awards, two TV Guide Awards, an American Comedy Award, six Golden Globe nominations and was the recipient of the Stephen F. Will Arnett has built an impressive career that spans television, movies, podcasts, commercials, and more. He currently hosts and produces the hit FOX competition show Lego Masters, which recently premiered its second season. He is also the co-host of the immensely popular podcast SmartLess, with close friends Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes. In each episode, one of the hosts surprises the other two with a mystery celebrity guest.
