Nico Robin is an archaeologist for the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the main characters in One Piece.

Background []

Nico Robin was born on the island of Ohara, and came from a family of archaeologists, where, his mother went out by the sea to find the true story. Nico Robin, at the age of eight, attended an archeology exam and was officially admitted as a scholar, where she also wanted to discover the true story just like her mother. With Clover scolding her, Robin went to cry to the northwest beach of Ohara, where she found the giant Jaguar D. Saul, which was washed up on the beach and thus they ended up becoming friends. Later with the Ohara incident due to the Buster Call activation, the scholars including Clover and her mother were killed, where, before dying, Nico Olvia told Robin to live. After Aokiji killed Jaguar D. Saul, he decided to spare Robin due to his sense of justice, and thus, she managed to escape with her life.

Now an adult, Robin ended up joining Crocodile's Baroque Works crew under the alias Miss All-Sunday so she could read the polyglyphs. But with Crocodile not getting the information he wanted, Nico Robin turned against him, but was easily defeated, but saved by Luffy. After Crocodile's defeat, Nico Robin ended up joining the Straw Hat crew as an archaeologist.

Flower-Flower Fruit "Hana Hana no Mi": It is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, this fruit allows the user to reproduce and sprout pieces of their body multiple times from the surface of any object or living beings.
- Un Fleur: Flowers a hand. She used this move to save Luffy from an arrow that hit him and for a child that came out of hiding.
- Dos Fleur: Blooms two hands. Used this move to save Chopper from falling into Skypiea's lake.
- Tres Fleur: Use it against Pell to prevent him from attacking.
- Seis Fleur: Spawns six hands that grab your opponent.
- Ocho Fleur: Blooms eight hands to grab a rival.
- Sweet Fleur: Blooms twelve hands to immobilize a rival.
- Fleur Diecisels: Bloom sixteen hands in an area to defend it as you did in Alabasta.
- Diecisels Fleur: Spawns sixteen hands, one on each sailor to prevent them from firing.
- Veinte Fleur: Used this move to save Zoro from Kizaru's attack.
- Veinte Fleur: Calendula: Blooms twenty hands, ten hands on each of its two arms. It uses it to protect itself from the ruins of Yama's wreckage.
- Veinte Fleur: Spider Net: Blooms a hundred hands to form a spider's web.
- Treinta Fleur: Blooms thirty hands.
- Cien Fleur: Wings: Robin creates a pair of wings that allow her to fly for five seconds
- Gran Fleur: It blooms many hands to form a giant and quite wide hand.
- Ojos Fleur: Causes eyes to bloom on an object or body.
- Oreja Fleur: Makes the ears bloom to hear a conversation in secret.
- Pierna Fleur: Sprouts legs on a body or object. You can use it by flowering legs on your back and transporting people.
- Body Fleur: This move creates one or more bodies that are completely identical to the same user.
- Mil Fleur: It sprouts a thousand limbs forming a giant hand, feet and others.
- Gigantic Mano: Makes a thousand hands bloom by grouping them together to form two perfect giant hands.
- Gigantic Mano Stomp: Makes a thousand legs bloom by grouping them together to form two perfect giant legs.
- Gigantic Mano Spank: Creates a gigantic hand that attacks.
- Double Clutch: Blooms two bodies with six hands each, placing one at the end of grappling and twisting the enemy leaving them badly injured or unconscious.
- Cuarenta Fleur: Cuatro Mano Hold: Makes forty hands bloom, ten hands make a big hand making a total of four big hands.
- Fourty Fleur: Four Mano Spank: Makes forty hands bloom, ten hands form a large hand making a total of four large hands that strike the enemy with the palm.
- Cien Fleur: Laughing: Makes one hundred hands bloom on the enemy's body in a respective position in such a way that he cannot move and can twist his bones to knock him out of combat.
- Mil Fleur Campo de Flores: Makes a thousand hands sprout as if it were a field.
- Mil Fleur Moth Orchid: Makes a thousand hands sprout two by two joined by a big finger, making them look like a butterfly.
- Mil Fleur: Hanagasa: Robin makes a thousand hands sprout, which form two giant hands, and other small ones emerging from these grasp anything.

Weaknesses []

It cannot swim and the water is weak due to having eaten a Devil Fruit.
She senses anything her duplicate limbs feel will take damage to her real body if they are attacked.
She cannot create limbs where there is not enough space and while each part is capable of that part's normal movement, the body part itself is tied to where it was sprung, and normally remains stationary when using her powers although she doesn't need to.
Because of her reverence for history and the past, she refuses to fight in places where there are ancient artifacts and leaves herself vulnerable to her opponent's attacks.

Fun Facts[]

Even as a child, Robin already had a bounty on his head.
In the anime Robin has blue eyes, but in the manga her eyes are brown.
In the anime adaptation, several boys are seen throwing tomatoes at her, but in the manga they throw rocks.
She shares the same birthday with her mother, Olvia.
Robin is the only member of the Straw Hats so far that Luffy has not invited to be part of the crew.
