What travelers are saying
- Silke TBurgwedel, Germany11 contributionsThe site is small but I spent 2 hours with my son (8years) and we both got a great insight into the issue of slavery. Definitely one of the best visits I have had in Pernambuco. A car is needed to get there or take a cab but tours there are free. The place is small so it ‘s really imperative to do a tour, otherwise one misses out and it seems just like a beautiful farmhouse.Written August 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maria Teresa98 contributionsIt's like a time machine travel, a little pearl in the middle of nowhere! It's not just the little church but also the ruins of a convent from 1500s, a little village and a great, astonishing view of the blue ocean!!
I only have to say to be alert about pickpockets......!!!Written August 29, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ana M.Coimbra, Portugal46 contributionsReally cool place, even if you’re not a surfer enthusiast and even in the summer time! It costs 2€ per person (July 2020) and you get to see all the awesome surf boards, explanation of the waves formation, some proper surf photos, and, of course, the amazing view.Written July 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
