View Event Description
Admissions Open House is on Friday, October 25. Our program is designed to give prospective students and their families a glimpse of our school’s many offerings. Come spend the afternoon with our faculty and students, experience our classes, and tour our beautiful campus. Our program will begin at 2:00 pm and will conclude by 5:00 pm. Registration is required.

Visual Arts at Santa Fe Prep: The Meem
Santa Fe Prep’s historic Meem Art Building was the original home and office of noted architect John Gaw Meem, the founder of the Spanish Pueblo Revival style that has created Santa Fe’s unique look. Today, it houses Prep's visual arts program, including studios for ceramics, drawing and painting, and photography.

I am a parent of two students (upper and middle), and following the recent fall Open House, I wanted to share my experience at Prep and my thanks to the school for providing such an outstanding environment for our kids. What stood out to me first and foremost were the teachers - every single one impressed me tremendously with their enthusiasm, their attention to the details, and most importantly how well they knew each student and how hard they work to make sure each student is progressing . We have experience with both public and private schools elsewhere, and the quality of the teaching at Prep really has no equal anywhere.
I also have been incredibly impressed with the administration at the school. They are all relatively new, following in the footsteps of some very successful administrators in the past, and yet they are working very hard to ensure the school remains at the top in terms of quality of education and reputation. We are very fortunate to be at Prep!

As a parent with children of varied interests and talents, I'm grateful for Prep's holistic approach encapsulated in the "Portrait of a Graduate." One child, with learning differences, thrived in academics, acting, sports, and the arts, discovering their best self at Prep. Another found creative fulfillment in STEM and personal growth through sports.
Prep is tailored for college preparation, setting high expectations. Middle school focuses on organization and time management, while high school students learn to prioritize homework, creative outlets, sports, and downtime. It's what we expected as a family – guiding our teens with love and support.
The leadership team handled the challenges of the pandemic thoughtfully, showing grace and teamwork. They also acknowledged that growth comes with challenges, setting a great example for our children.

I am compelled to write a review on Niche after being overwhelmingly impressed by several outstanding programs offered to parents from Santa Fe Prep's college counseling office. I have raised my children among my peers who have kids at every school in Santa Fe - and I can say without a doubt that Prep is the only school that offers college counseling of any measurable capacity. The college counselors spend time with each student and carefully consider the student's interests, academic strengths, and other factors in helping guide the students in the overwhelming landscape of college searches. And not only that, but they have endeavored to spend time after hours providing programs to parents about a wide array of issues relevant to the college application process. The college counseling office is a small--but significant--reason that Santa Fe Prep is truly unmatched in terms of what it offers to its students.
