Any tips on modding minecraft tower defense survival like 7 days to die?

Hello all,

I recently just got a new PC and am thinking about creating a mod pack to create an experience similar to 7 days to die but In minecraft.

7 Days to die is my favourite game of all time, or at least in theory it is, I love the overall core gameplay sucks and isn't really fun, I also love minecraft and I always hoped Minecraft would attempt to be a survival game again instead of an adventure game.

considering that is never going to happen, I am going to try and create that experience as a modpack, I've tried it before a long time ago but I didn't really finish it as that was on my old laptop which sadly didn't run it very well.

Mods I'm looking for:

• What is the best terrain altering mod

• quality of life improvements

• Mob overhaul, this is a big one and don't know if there is a good mod for this, basically I want all mobs to spawn at any time, not just night time, Would also love to see zombies break blocks (just like 7 days to die)and attack your base aka tower defense, maybe have random horde spawns, zombies can attack and infect animals.

• the best backpack mod, from the backpack mods I've seen they all see kinda weird like having to crouch and place it down to look at it? would much rather have a simple backpack or tiers of backpacks you can craft to simply add more inventory slots.

• traps to kill of enemies.

• building mode? kinda like fallout / valheim?

• some sort of gravity / structure mod, don't know if this is possible due to how minecraft works but I would love to have to add structural stability to your buildings that way you can't just make a floating fortress.
