You will soon be able to binge-watch The Conners in its entirety.
Netflix has acquired the first five seasons of the Roseanne spinoff, which will begin streaming for the first time ever on Wednesday, March 27.
In a seemingly unprecedented move, The CW has been airing reruns of The Conners as part of the network’s primetime line-up. Back-to-back episodes have aired Thursdays at 8/7c (and occasionally on Sundays, too) since Jan 4.
It was first reported in August 2023 that Lionsgate and Debmar-Mercury struck a licensing pact with Werner Entertainment to syndicate the Roseanne offshoot for the first time. Under the pact, Lionsgate’s Worldwide Television Distribution Group oversees global distribution (which entails SVOD, AVOD, basic cable and FAST rights), while Debmar-Mercury handles domestic syndication, where the sitcom is set for a September 2024 launch.
The deal includes Seasons 1-5 (consisting of 93 episodes), as well as rights to future seasons following their initial window on ABC. The Disney-owned broadcast network previously renewed The Conners for Season 6, which currently airs Wednesdays at 8 pm and will soon surpass 100 episodes.
Up until now, fans of The Conners had been unable to revisit past seasons, which disappeared from Hulu and online retailers as soon as the next season began on ABC. That made it impossible for people to go back and start the show from the beginning, or pick up where they left off if they lost track at some point during the series’ run. The CW app currently offers one season at a time, for free, concurrent with its off-network debut on the CW television network.
All 10 seasons of Roseanne, meanwhile, remain available to stream on Peacock.
Will this also include a return to digital retailers? ie. iTunes, Amazon, Google, Vudu?
The individual seasons and a 1-5 box set are on iTunes now. I was finally able to get season 1 so have them all for now. Forgot how good season 1 was. I think it’s going to hold up as good as the original show did.

Finally! I’ve been waiting to rewatch since season one was removed from Hulu, and even more so with each following season.
So is the Rosanne reboot year part of this or aired as the final Rosanne season
“You can revisit all seasons of Roseanne — including the 2018 revival from which the spinoff derived — on Peacock.”
That’s great news! The availability of some TV shows is becoming more and more problematic. When I see that Disney is no longer doing physical copy in Australia… Still waiting for a proper release of The Nevers Season 2 Part 2 somewhere on Bluray or streaming…
I have no interest in re-watching this. I tried re-watching the reboot season or Rosernne and it was just not funny enough to continue. Now the original, could re-watch it all day, especially the first 5 or 6 seasons.
Why take the time to post a comment like this? Seriously! I rather enjoy this show much more without that disgrace Rosanne! It always cracks me up when people say they are not interested, but they opened the post and left a comment. SMH
I finally finished the comeback in season 10 and watched all of the episodes, excited to move on to the spinoff of the Conners and it is
nowhere to be found, even if I’m willing to pay for a subscription. It’s very annoying. Please make season’s 1-5 available in one place in its entirety. Thanks.
The Conners is also going to be on Netflix come February 2024.
A Netflix deal is merely rumored; nothing has been announced, but TVLine will keep you posted once a deal is confirmed.

Please let us watch the first 4 seasons of the Connor’s please I missed half of them I think a lot of people want to rewatch the seasons
Well, this entire article is about how it will be airing on The CW. So, I don’t think you need to try to ask.
Hopefully this helps bring some more multi cams to the CW!
The CW has really gone down the tubes. I’m sure it’s a great show, but this seems very strange to be airing a competitor’s show. Very odd indeed.
And not the current season but repeats of past seasons.
On its way to becoming a program service like what happened to my network tv.
It’s finally being shown in reruns, but not in syndication.
“The deal to air The Conners as part of the CW’s primetime schedule will not impede on any potential broadcast syndication deal for fall 2024, or any streaming deal inked in the coming months.”
My daughter recorded all the episodes of this and I recently watched them. I have to say I actually really enjoy this show and think it’s just as good as the original show. I was someone who was skeptical. Laurie Metcalf is a genius and deserves an Emmy nomination. So does Estelle Parsons. The scene with the dementia touched me as I’m going through this with a family member. John Goodman and Katey Segal have great Chemistry although I wish katey was a full time cast member. Lecy really shines in the conners whereas on Roseanne she didn’t. Sara Gilbert is still hilarious with her sarcastic remakes.
So they are running repeats in Primetime. It’s sad what the CW is now.
Now if it was late night, 6-8p.m. or the weekend that’d be fine.
Maybe Lionsgate might be using The CW as a back up home for the series if ABC decides not to renew it. Which is insane if they don’t since this show usually has highest rated viewership out of the comedies. I’m looking forward to re-watching the episodes.
I feel like if it doesn’t continue, it will be because the cast is ready to move on – or because they want more money to continue than what ABC would pay, which would theoretically also be more than what CW would pay given all they cancelled from WB & CBS studios for supposed financial reasons when taking over. And there were already talks that this could have been a final season – I haven’t heard anything post-strikes so maybe they decided to delay that until next season, but I just don’t see it continuing on the CW.
I know pre strikes it was highly speculative that season 6 would possibly be planned as a final season idk if that’s still the case
I don’t see how the network can make money by just buying shows that have already aired elsewhere, but I’m not in television.
The CW… as in Can’t Watch. Has broadcast TV come to this?
TV networks have aired reruns of other networks’ shows while they still aired before. It’s not a new thing and it’s not the crisis you think it is.
Name one.
NBC still aired new epsiodes of Friday Night Lights even after it moved to DirecTV’s 101 Network. There, I named one.
DirecTV 101 Network is not a Broadcast Network. Try again.
When the WB replaced their weekday Kids’ WB block with the Daytime WB block in early 2006 they aired reruns of ER for a few months while it was still airing new episodes on NBC. Years before that, NBC briefly aired reruns of Full House in daytime during the middle of its original run on ABC. Major broadcast networks have aired reruns of other networks’ shows before, but it’s usually occurred outside of primetime.
What do you say now, “Maude Junior”? 🖕🏽🤬
We are discussing Broadcast Television Primetime. Try again.
I’d rather hug a cactus, you elitist pig.
Heavens! (monocle falls from eye)
Joe can’t name even ONE! Ha ha poopyhead!

Connors reruns should help lower the already insane amount of Whose Line schedule hole fillers. Not a bad decision after all.
WTF! I don’t have anything against The Conners. But it’s clear that CW hasn’t a clue what to air in their lineup.
Yeah. Sad to see what their lineup is slowly devolving into – reruns and imports that can’t find a home anywhere else. Nexstar should have never bought this network. They clearly have no freaking clue what they’re doing.
It’s actually a clever, unusual and an experimental move, I have a good feeling the Nexstar stations have already or are locking up ‘The Conners’ for Fall ’24 syndication and it fits into their overall plan to get more viewers on the cheap.
How to compound a serious insult. Nexstar-owned The CW certainly knows how to lose TV viewers, especially in wake of the cancelations of many of the Top DC Comics based TV shows, and reruning “THE CONNORS” is one of THE most dumbest ideas to date! ABC and what used to be Carsey-Werner, now Tom Werner Entertainment, sure has some big opinions of themselves, especially after the May 2018 scandal that brought down Roseanne Barr, and the betrayal by her former cast members, and “THE CONNORS” are still on the ABC airwaves, and The CW wants to rerun this stupid show? This is first-class stupidity at its finest!
I’m so confused on much of the last showings. So where was it written rosanne dies, the Connors did not win the lottery, Roseanne and Jackie did not have babies.
I don’t pay extra for no “Hulu or fulu or xflex or other silliness I just want it on DVD! When??
Of course I will want to visit the past season. It has been way too long not to since the writers strike. I missed the last two episodes so I will want that lead into this new season. I have enjoyed watching the Connor’s and hope it will enjoy another season.
Yeah I found the reruns on the CW but one of them has a money sign next to it! I can’t watch one old episode without having to pay🫤 that sucks
Finally! I was watching the older episodes on the cw app. These episodes actually hold up pretty good just like original show.
