This page is a list of all Egg Drop and Egg Hunt eggs.

Egg Drop 2008[]

Egg Drop 2008 (Also known as Eggstravaganza 2008) was the first Egg Drop. It consisted of 10 eggs, and 3 troll eggs, for a total egg count of 13. Two of these troll eggs would later be obtainable in other ways.

Egg Drop 2010[]

Egg Drop 2010 (Also known as Eggstravaganza 2010) was the second and final Egg Drop. It consisted of 19 standard eggs and 5 fabergé eggs for a total egg count of 24. This egg hunt marks the debut of the fabergé egg.

These eggs were released in two waves:

  • Spring drop - Eggs that were introduced when Egg Drop 2010 first started. The egg drop was later cut short due to Roblox servers crashing from too much player traffic.
  • Summer drop - Eggs that were introduced when Egg Drop 2010 was reopened after the servers went back up.

Egg Hunt 2012[]

Egg Hunt 2012 was the first Egg Hunt. It consisted of 21 standard eggs, 3 fabergé eggs, and 3 sugar eggs, adding up to a total of 27 eggs. This marks the first egg hunt to have a dedicated game made for it, as well as the first egg hunt to have a crossover with another event, in this case, The Three Stooges.

Egg Hunt 2013 was the second Egg Hunt. It consisted of 31 standard eggs and 3 fabergé eggs, adding up to a total of 34 eggs. This is the first (And only) egg hunt to have eggs that hatch into other items.

Egg Hunt 2014[]

Egg Hunt 2014: Save the Eggverse! (Or just Egg Hunt 2014) was the third Egg Hunt. It consisted of 27 standard eggs and 6 fabergé eggs, adding up to a total of 33 eggs. It is the first egg hunt to have maps made of terrain, as well as the first egg hunt to have multiple worlds you can travel to.

An April Fools version of the egg hunt was released prior to the actual egg hunt, which had a badge for the Egg of Destiny. Everyone who got the badge prior to April 21st, 2014 eventually received the egg.

Egg Hunt 2015[]

Egg Hunt 2015 was the fourth Egg Hunt. It contained 22 normal eggs and 1 eggmin, consisting of 23 total, which is the least amount of eggs present in any egg hunt. This is the first egg hunt to take on the formula of having multiple games instead of one dedicated game, which would later be referred to by the community as a "dev hunt". This egg hunt also marks the debut of the admin egg.

Egg Hunt 2016[]

Egg Hunt 2016: An Eggcellent Adventure (Or just Egg Hunt 2016) was the fourth Egg Hunt. It contained 26 normal eggs, 2 fabergé eggs and 2 eggmins, consisting of 26 total. This egg hunt marks the return of the traditional single-game egg hunt formula. Admin eggs would be referred to as Eggmins from this year onwards, with the exception of the following year's egg hunt.

Egg Hunt 2017[]

Egg Hunt 2017: The Lost Eggs (Or just Egg Hunt 2017) was the fifth Egg Hunt. It contained 38 normal eggs, 1 fabergé egg and 1 eggmin, consisting of 40 in total. This is the first egg hunt to be sponsored, in this case, it was sponsored by McDonald's Happy Meal, but there were no items related to the sponsor. Fabergé eggs would be referred to as Fabergéggs (Also spelled as FabergEgg) from this year onwards.

Egg Hunt 2018: The Great Yolktales (Or just Egg Hunt 2018) was the sixth egg hunt. It contained 38 normal eggs, 2 fabergé eggs, 4 treasured eggs and 1 eggmin, consisting of 45 in total. This is the second egg hunt to have a crossover with another event, in this case, Ready Player One. It is also the first egg hunt to feature an egg designed by a contest winner, that being the Radio Egg, designed by PartyMonsterToast.

Egg Hunt 2019[]

Egg Hunt 2019: Scrambled in Time (Or just Egg Hunt 2019) was the seventh egg hunt. It contained 55 normal eggs, 1 fabergé egg, 1 eggmin, and 1 video star egg, consisting of 58 in total. This egg hunt marks the debut of the video star egg, as well as the return of the dev hunt formula of egg hunts, albeit with a hub to connect each game. It is also the second egg hunt to be sponsored, in this case, it was sponsored by Avengers: Endgame, and as such, some eggs were themed around Marvel superheroes. Not only that, it is the second egg hunt to feature an egg designed by a contest winner, that being Retro Egg, The Geometric, designed by fernanlol3.

Egg Hunt 2020[]

Egg Hunt 2020: Agents of E.G.G. (Or just Egg Hunt 2020) was the eighth and final egg hunt. It contained 49 normal eggs, 1 fabergé egg, 1 eggmin, 1 developer egg, and 1 video star egg, consisting of 53 in total. This is the second consecutive egg hunt to follow the dev hunt formula, but unlike Egg Hunt 2019, there was no game that served as a hub, instead having a fan-made hub in its place. This egg hunt marks the return of developer eggs, but instead of being themed around a specific development team (Such as Elite Builders of Robloxia or Fifteam), it is themed around Roblox Studio in general.

ROtris[]

ROtris was an event that started in November of 2008, in which prizes could be obtained by getting high scores in various difficulties for its titular game. This event had an obtainable egg prize, which is the Bluesteel Egg of Genius, repurposed from Egg Drop 2008.

Crossroads Improvement Project[]

The Crossroads Improvement Project contest was a 48-hour contest that was held on April 2010, where the objective was to make improvements to the classic Roblox game Crossroads. Since the contest was held close to easter, the only available prizes were eggs.

Since 2017, Roblox collaborated with Jazwares to make some of the platform's most notable games, characters, and developers into toys, with each toy having a code that can be redeemed for an avatar item. There have been 2 eggs that were made available as toy code items.

Metaverse Champions[]

Metaverse Champions was an event that started in April of 2021. The event was branded as a "spring hunt", rebranding the egg hunt tradition. Surprisingly, Metaverse Champions had an obtainable egg prize, which is the Tiny Egg of Nonexistence, another troll egg from Egg Drop 2008, serving as a send-off to egg hunts.

The Hunt: First Edition[]

The Hunt: First Edition (Or just "The Hunt") was a Roblox event that mainly served as a way of testing the waters to gather feedback from the community as to what they wanted to see in future events. For the first time in nearly 4 years, an egg prize could be obtained in The Hunt: First Edition upon getting 95 badges (Originally 100), which is The Infinite Egg.
