To get us started, our appetiser came out and was cold. We sent it back and the replacement was Luke warm - disappointing. Main meal was not particularly hot either and not great quality overall. Service was ok but slow - had to wait a while to find someone and complain about food and for condiments. On arrival we were told we only had the table for 2 hours which again was disappointing as there was no mention of this at time of booking and we planned to stay for drinks and listen to the music (which was brilliant). We finished food within an hour and planned to order more cocktails but the bill was promptly brought to us without asking. Such a shame because the atmosphere was great, lovely venue and great music.

The food was delicious and priced great. The performance was excellent. Our only issue was with our waiter , he took our order and never checked on us again as we wanted another round of drinks to enjoy with our meal.

I do not know what’s going on with the food but they need to stop changing the menu, they gave me corn soup with salty in the middle. I was so upset and unhappy… I actually want my money back 😫😔

The vibes are good, except for the ones from the hostess. She did not look at us a single time. We walked up, got no welcome, kept looking at her tablet screen and said, “did you have a reservation?”… then asked our name, “follow me,” led us to our table, then walked off. We had also put in the reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, but no one mentioned it while we were there, so I guess they don’t look at that, even though it asked us. Our waiter was super friendly, but definitely slow on coming and checking on us and things. There is also not a lot of variety in food choices. I can’t do spicy stuff, but that was definitely a vast majority of what they had. The food ended up being really good, but my mouth was on fire. Overall, I was super excited to come here for the first time and it definitely didn’t live up to my expectations. A bit disappointed to say the least.

Great visit to Chicago and the dinner/entertainment at HoB on a Thursday was perfect. Manager was attentive to our seating needs, and staff always had an eye on our table. HoB smash burger and chowder was excellent, and the blackened salmon was just right. Top notch margueritas of course. Nice to have live music that was entertaining, yet didn't interfere with table conversations. Guests and staff all had smiles! Bonus: selfie with Jake and Elwood statues at the entrance

The food was good but pricey. The service was excellent. Drinks were good. There were two blues acts while we were there. The first was a one man show while the second was a full band. First act probably not suitable for a Saturday night show. Not lively. Second act was good. The chairs were not comfortable. There was a good crowd.

The waiter that served us was a disaster. He came twice asking us for our order when we had already given it to him, and he came a third time saying that he had lost the paper where he took our order. We had to ask him to bring us water, even though he said he was going to bring us in the beginning. When I gave him the credit card for payment he never came back, and we had to ask the manager to bring us the credit card.

The experience was great overall. Our server was fantastic and the live music was phenomenal. The food was good and they went above and beyond by helping me with my food request. The only mishap was the attitude that the hostess(curvy girl with short light hair) gave us when we came. My husband loves blues and this is why I booked the restaurant. We had a 6 pm reservation and the restaurant was half empty. She wanted to sit us on a table that where we couldn't see the performer so we politely asked her if we could move to one if the high tops in the center. The girl was very rude and gave us an attitude and told us "you can sit here but I need the table by 8 pm". I told her that we weren't going to stay long anyway. Our server Osiris on the other hand was fantastic and thanks to him we didn't leave with a bad impression of the restaurant. I recommend this place but this hostess needs some Customer Experience training urgently.

About a year ago we had the best ribs ever at House of Blues. The meat was tender fell off the bone. We were looking forward the same experience. Unfortunately, this time the ribs were dry and tough. Disappointing.

Friendly and attentive staff. The brisket sandwich and Mac & cheese weee really good. My hubby enjoyed the jambalaya that had a good spicy kick. The bands were lively, but you could still hold a conversation. The Windy City Rebels was a great blues band.

La mesa que nos dieron estaba muy lejos del escenario, pedimos uno más cerca y nos dieron una mesa detrás de un pilar donde apenas y se veía el escenario. Pedimos nos cambiaran de mesa y no quisieron cuando había mesas disponibles. Tuvimos que cambiarnos a la barra y comer y beber ahí, pues tenia mejor vista que una mesa que apartamos semanas antes. Lo host de cabello rosa no tiene buena actitud…

Loved it! Server was excellent, drinks were excellent, food also excellent! Had a really great time in the restaurant, then went upstairs for an hour to see their edm… really liked it! Honestly, my daughter and I really had a better time here than at our other concert (which was also amazing). Great job! Now I see why my brother worked here twenty years ago. 🤣

The venue was tired. The food was appalling. We sent the Cajun chicken back and it was removed from the bill which appeared to be normal practice. The jambalaya was greasy with processed chicken meat. We ordered a bottle of wine which arrived with a glass already used from the bottle! The staff seemed to be just waiting for complaints to happen. Overall sadly a very poor experience.
