referencing Sweet Thunder (LP, Album) LT-1097
This is a nice collection, especially for those of us who love Bill Medley. "Don't Know Much" is the same song titled elsewhere as "All I Need To Know" (reference side C opener on Bette Midler's "A Gift Of Love"). Carole King's "Hey Girl" and Fats Domino's "Ain't That A Shame" are strong tracks that shine. The LP bogs down a bit on side two with Bill Medley's original songs, the sappy "Grandma And Grandpa" and the schmaltzy "Woman." While not his best solo set, it's worth spinning every once in a blue moon.
