He has also written a number of short stories, including Graveyard Shift, The Last Victim and The Portrait. In 2001, he collaborated with Max Allan Collins to create the anthology series FLESH AND BLOOD, tales of erotic noir from some of the finest writers in crime fiction. Mr. Gelb is now in his fifth decade producing the comic book fanzine MEN OF MYSTERY.

One of the greatest horror anthologies out there
You don't have to be a rock fan to appreciate this book (though it certainly does help). Music lovers of all genres will enjoy the story collection presented here.

great short stories, some I would love to try to film.

This book does pretty well in putting together enough good stories to make the read worthwhile. I really only actively disliked one story, and the rest were good-enough to somewhat better.
If you like the subject matter, authors, or genre(s), probably worth reading.

There's some good stories here. At least as good as the original collection, and maybe a tad better for stories.
