I Would Like a Marmalade Cookie

I would like a marmalade cookie if you could.
Or marmalade ketchup smoked in barbeque wood
If a cookie you do not have a marmalade cake will do
With marmalade frosting, big enough for twenty-two
I love oranges and sugar, and my craving is big.
Ham and eggs with marmalade might help said my cousin Fig.

Mood #97

Elation arrives on welcome clocks

that slice eternal change into a

mathematical set of tiny

time-ticks defined by future geometric

close-cropped lawns, clover-stained:

reminders of the tortured pleasures of

suitcase dials swollen in sticky

ditherings once withered in blacklight waters where

glamor spray drifted between the

spruce and tangerines we peeled back then,

in the forest, on that steamy, rainy

undocumented drizzly day...

Well,

In misty-mitten moon-washed tether moods

I came to you, with bog-soaked shoes

and supplications in a poem --

writ with tongue-tied marmalades that

shivered from future symphonies

and breeze-hymns, half-alive, alone,

their breath in stilled reflection cups in an

hourglass gleam where slippery sand

reduces eternal change to grains

that symbolize our fumbling age of

quartz-like forms of cluelessness

wrapped in suicidal tropes

most popular in trendy heavens, which,

in reality, really reflect

the complex moods of #97.

(hear the complex mood as expressed by me on the piano)...

Tea With the Queen: a Celebrity Poem Featuring the Celebrity Guest Paddington Bear

There's nothing that will ever be

More wonderful than taking tea

With our late Queen of England, she

Who too loved marmie, yes Sirree !!!!

O marmalade, O marmalade !

There's nothing that was ever made

As magical a sandwich aid:

It earns a perfect A plus grade !

Although that I'm at heart a bear

And love my honey fair and square,

I must admit, there's nothing there

Like marmalade, so bees beware !

We might someday demand that you

Make marmalade and jelly too

And maple syrup out of dew

And dandelions: so let's review:

There's nothing that will ever be

More wonderful than taking tea

With our late Queen of England, she

Who too loved marmie, Yes Sirree !

Tasty Sweet Marmalade

Sweet marmalade on butterflies
Delicious marmalade in pie
Warm marmalade on pancakes
Need you ask me why?

Artistic marmalade in marigolds
Tasty marmalade on toast.
Jelly jams or sauces
Guess which I love the most.
