The Queen's Diamonds is an exhaustive, fascinating history of Elizabeth II's most important sparklers. It's a treasure trove of delicious details that royal jewellery blogs have been overdosing on, as they replace old rumours and conjectures with confirmed information.

  • Great book for Jewelry Lovers

I’ve read about, and seen references about The Queens Diamonds for a few years. When I saw this book on discount, I couldn’t resist. It’s beautifully laid out, starting with Queen Adelaide, Victoria, Alexandra, Mary, Elizabeth the Queen Mum, and finally Queen Elizabeth ll. The copy is informative, but the photos, are outstanding.

  • great book, well worth the price, beautifully illustrated and written

a really excellent book, covering 19th and 20th century english queens and their diamonds. great illustrations showing the changes made over time to "modernize" different pieces, reall in depth research and very well written. trully a book that was hard to put down once started. i like my copy so much i bought this one as a gift for a friend. highly recommended, one of the best of the big jewelry "coffee" table type books on jewelry that is available.

  • the Queens diamonds.

First of all, if you like the topic, an expert wrote the book, so it includes information no one else could add.
