I liked the community and the opportunities to get involved.
I would like to see the level of diversity change. More students as well as professors of color.

WKU is a fun place to learn and interact with other students. The psychology department is helpful and willing to do whatever it takes to see you succeed.
I love Western Kentucky University. One thing I like the most is the campus life. There normally a lot of events or things going on around campus. The surrounding community really engages with the students on campus.
Great for online courses that I needed to finish my bachelors degree. I did online and the assignments were posted with well written directions. Worked at my own pace.
Overall, Western Kentucky is a great school. The professors are knowledgeable and helpful. It's a good place to meet new people and develop friendships. The access to food, entertainment and resources is good.
it has been fine. something no one tells you is that college is just more school. i like the people and i like my major professors but the gen ed professors are bad.
Exceptional and beautiful campus. Friendly student body and great athletic programs. The geography and geology department is where I studied, and they have exceptional professors who care about your success and education.
I had a lot of fun here! I am from a bigger city so the small town was kind of a cultural shock. Food options get old fast but academics are effective
It is a great school. It has been very welcoming and is on such a beautiful campus. I only struggle with learning through lectures only. The big lecture halls with over 100 students is a bit daunting and with very little homework it is harder to learn the material as a hands on learner. I do enjoy my major and have met some people I can see myself staying friends with. It is great to walk but you do need to wear good shoes because that hill is rough.
WKU has so many different resources for students, and I have felt extremely supported and encouraged by these resources. In particular, I have felt strongly supported by the Office of Scholar Development, which has allowed me to apply for and receive numerous scholarships. I also really appreciate and maintain contact with previous professors and classmates, and overall, the environment in campus and experience with campus life has been extremely positive.
Enjoyed my coursework but I personally found my advisors to be lacking in their ability to be able to help me find direction in my course work. They were generally aloof and unhelpful. Had some great professors and some not so great ones but they often felt unapproachable. BG is a cute small town and has a great music scene for it's size. Campus life was fun but there's a lot to explore in town too.
WKU has been a great place for me to spend my four years of undergraduate studies. I have had great professors through my program(s), been involved in Greek Life, and met some of my best friends. Both my social and academic life have been greatly enriched by attending WKU.
I like the campus life and academics because I believe Western Kentucky University has knowledgeable professors who create a good learning environment for their students. In addition, campus life is as fun as you make it - going to the athletic games and participating in extracurricular activities has made my experience well worth it. Moreover, if you're hungry and looking for something to eat, it is easy to get from point A (bottom of the hill) to point B (top of the hill) within a few minutes. However, I would like to see the requirement of living on campus for two years change for incoming freshmen because I believe if you want a place all by yourself, you don't have to deal with a roommate and everything that comes with having a roommate, you should be allowed to get an apartment off campus.
I will be attending WKU. But by being on tours and stuff it seems like a good place to attend. The campus isn't too big or too small. And the food options are great as well!
Western Kentucky University has been a real blast so far. Meeting people has been amazing and everyone here is uniquely wonderful. Campus has Cherry Blossom trees that looks stunningly beautiful during the spring.
Western Kentucky provides many activities and organizations for all students who attend. There are many resources provided to help get you around, and the level of work and education provided is excellent.
Western is a decent school. The party life is a bit excessive in my personal opinion, but the academics are fine. Majority of the professors are kind, and you can tell that they genuinely care about their students and what they do for a living. I don't like the way Western tends to ignore student concerns. Majority of the money is put towards new buildings and athletics rather that repairing buildings that students are actively living in and things like paying their staff and on-campus restaurants.
It feels like home. Students and staff are very welcoming and supportive. Campus is very safe and beautiful.
Western Kentucky University has shown me how true friendships and connections are formed. My experience has been very positive, and I would recommend coming to school here.
In only two years at Western, I've come to love the Hill and the culture that comes with being a Hilltopper. I'm very proud to cheer on our teams and am pleased with the education provided.
