England forward Jarrod Bowen has signed a new seven-year contract with West Ham.

The 26-year-old, who joined from Hull City for £18m on a five-year deal in 2020, had reportedly been a target for Liverpool and Newcastle.

Hammers boss David Moyes said Bowen's extension was "great news for us".

Bowen has scored 45 goals in 167 games for West Ham, including the winner in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in June.

"He's done amazingly since he's been here," added Moyes. "He continues to improve.

"If you think of his own development as an individual, he started off at Hereford, moved to Hull and now in the Premier League and getting a chance to be in the England squad. I think he'll get better as well."

Bowen has scored five times in nine appearances this season, earning a recall to the England squad for games against Australia and Italy in October.

"I've loved every minute of my time here. Winning the Europa Conference League in Prague was an amazing moment, scoring the winner in the last minute will be something I'll cherish forever," he said.

"It's left us all wanting that feeling again and again - we want to create more memories together, for our fantastic fans, and for this fantastic football club."
