Airline Summary
The largest airline in Europe, Frankfurt-based Lufthansa (LH) flies non-stop to about 215 destinations. This includes 18 points within Germany, as well as 78 countries within Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, North America, the Caribbean and South America. The airline's aircraft have a variety of one-cabin and four-cabin configurations that can include First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class. A member of the Star Alliance, Lufthansa also has codeshare agreements with five other airlines. Additionally, Lufthansa has a number of subsidiaries, including Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Air Dolomiti, Lufthansa CityLine and Germanwings. The airline has hubs at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and Munich Airport (MUC).

Have flow Lufthansa/Discover many times in the past with great experiences. Last time experienced horrible customer service both at the airport and with the customer service phone line. Absolutely, the worst, no regards! In complete shock about the lack of service. Different answers every time I call or they just hang up. At the airport, not helpful was sent to a "service desk" only for the woman at the desk to turn her back to me and completely ignore me.…

1 star is too many! Awful service. Staff rather arrogant. 45 minutes delay in coming from Frankfurt an hour and half total delay taking off and then 20 minutes waiting for gate after landing.

Booked via Munich to avoid Frankfurt, both ways been rebooked to flights to Frankfurt with delays of many hours. Usuallythe flight into Frankfurt is late, very short tranfer time and the bus let youd own in a different terminal so you have to run like hell under the same tunnel every time. Worst experience among all the airlines in Europe. Will try not to use Lufthansa anymore. Useless to say taht with teh actual timing I ahve been forced to I would have never booked LUfthansa…

I had to skip my flight to New York due to health issues and booked another ticket myself. I had informed Lufthansa, but they nonetheless canceled my return segment and charged an outrageous fee to restore it. Their customer service is a nightmare.
