Rain, at times heavy, is expected. Hazards: Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 60 mm. Timing: Thursday night through Saturday afternoon. Discussion: Heavier rain will begin overnight tonight as a strong low pressure system tracks northwards from the Dakotas. Most of the rain with this system will fall on Friday and taper off through the day on Saturday. Northerly wind gusts up to 60 km/h will accompany the rain Friday and Saturday. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
