A podcaster looks for John,
Thinking he's all but gone.
Return of the honcho,
They call John Bronco,
With fajitas on his front lawn.
Kinda obsessed how we all decided that Walton Goggins has the best fake southern accent and so he has been forced to keep doing it. Boyd Crowder lives 4ever.
The first John bronco is one of my favorite movies ever, but this one was disappointing. It felt mostly like unused footage from the first one, but it had some good jokes. Walton Goggins is always amazing tho
I absolutely lost my shit at the cereal commercial. Walton Goggins is a bonafide treasure, yeeee-hah!
I have a weird, deep affection for John Bronco, so when this popped up on my Hulu dashboard I watched it instantly.
It’s fine. Walton Goggins continues to be unwaveringly excellent even in the face of a so-so script. Some of the jokes really caught me off guard and made me laugh, but a lot of it feels pretty forced. Mostly it just made me want to watch John Bronco again.
Props to this for imagining the most disgusting flavor of cereal ever thought up by mankind.
PS: heck yeah I’m the seventh review ever for this
Nowhere near as strong as the first but the cameo from a fellow Shield co-star makes this worth the price of admission
Until I read some of the reviews here (as I watched the very end of this) I didn't realize this is actually a lengthy commercial and not a full length film! L...o...l.
It may not be hilarious throughout, but it's got a decent amount of hilarity in its campy, dry humor with also random moments that catch you off guard in a good way. Walter Goggins is so underrated, I tell ya. He's fantastic here. And it was a pleasant surprise to see Tim Meadows and he's still funny as ever. I also only later realized this is the 2nd of two films. I better get to watching the 1st one as soon as I can. This one was fun…
A year ago, Hulu released John Bronco (2020), which was a short mockumentary on the Ford Bronco's fictional spokesperson, and to my surprise, they released a sequel.
Much like its predecessor, Walton Goggin's natural charisma is the only reason to watch this. It's more subtle on its Ford product placement this time around, but the jokes still don't land.
