Disregard for alchemy’s laws ripped half of Ed Elric’s limbs from his body and left Al’s soul clinging to a suit of armor. To restore what was lost, the brothers seek the Philosopher’s Stone. Enemies and allies – the corrupt military, the Homunculi, and foreign alchemists – will alter the Elric’s course, but their purpose will remain unchanged and their bond unbreakable

A Heart Fullmetal - (10/10 series)

This is probably one of the first anime shows I watched, and one of the few shows that I have re-watched more than once. It has everything that you could want in a show good story, enjoyable characters, and good music. FMA Brotherhood will have you laughing, crying, and everything in between while providing you with a memorable story that will last a lifetime. You will not regret watching this show. That being said I highly recommend you watch this show, even if you have to put off other shows in order to watch it.

ONE OF THE BEST ANIME OUT THERE

Just another 5/5 star rating, but honestly this series deserves it. I have not seen a show go for 50+ episodes and stay so engaging in regards to its plot and animation. The characters are memorable and their struggle is really felt. The animation never dips and to me that says a lot, for I have seen the occasional slip up episode here in there in other shows. Highly recommend both the dub and sub for this one.

A masterpiece among a sea of mediocre.

This anime is simply one of the best shows I've ever seen. So the first thing I should clear up is that you must watch the dub. Nearly all of the English voices are spot on. Next, let's talk about story. I'll give you a brief summary without any spoilers. Edward and Alphonse Elric are two brothers whose father was an alchemist. Their father left them at a young age, leaving behind his family and research. The days went by as Ed and Al lived with their mother alone and played with the neighbor kid, Winry. They had a fondness towards alchemy, despite having bitter feelings towards their father. The boys poured over their fathers research, and with some talent and practice, were able to teach themselves to use the art. Eventually, a deadly illness comes, and with it takes many lives. One of these lives belonged to Ed and Al's mother. Heartbroken and desperate, the boys commit an unforgivable sin: they attempt to bring their mom back from the dead using alchemy. As the equivalent exchange for committing such heinous crime, Ed loses his right arm and left leg while Al loses his entire body. The boys spend the entirety of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood searching for a philosopher's stone in order to use it to get their bodies back. There are many twists and turns throughout the story, which really work well and leave the viewers on the edges of their seats. The characters all work well together and really bring life to the show. This show is capable of bringing out all emotions from you. It is definitely worth a watch, I'd say.
