Rik Van Nutter, born Frederick Allen Nutter, (his name is pronounced NOOT-er) is an actor who portrayed C.I.A. Agent Felix Leiter in Thunderball, amongst many other roles.
He was married to Swedish model and actress Anita Ekberg from 1963 until 1975.
He was offered the part in Thunderball without an audition while having dinner with producer Albert R. "Cubby" Broccoli and his wife Dana Broccoli.[1]
