  • Silver Screenings: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon | June 8, 1 pm
    June 8 screening will include open captions. Following the screening, join us from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm for a free workshop that explores Chinese health practices like kung fu and qi gong in a beginner-friendly environment. Registration is required for the workshop ― please request your participation by June 3 via this form.

  • Loved It: Celeste Yim on The Favourite | June 12, 7:30 pm
    Celeste Yim, supervising writer at Saturday Night Live, joins us in their hometown to present The Favourite, Yorgos Lanthimos’ richly layered and hilarious hit film, starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz. Following the screening, Yim will discuss the film’s cultural relevance, its satirical exploration of gender and social power dynamics, and its influence on them as a writer.
