Daniel Lanois – For The Beauty Of Wynona

Been listening to The Tea Party's version of "The Messenger" for years and only realizing today that it's a Lanois cover. Mind blown!

Superb Vinyl, however the first bars of "Sleeping in the devils bed" are shortened by about half a second on my vinyl. It's not a pressing error imo, but an error on the audio that went on to the vinyl. Nothing too annoying, just an interesting find.

I’m not sure about this release??? I never heard another version of this but it seems very odd to me.
The volume in the beginning is so weak, then so bright? I know it is considered a masterpiece in term of recording engineering but I’m biased

Just picked up a used copy in Canada. Sounds great! Appreciated the uncensored cover.

The sound is great. I love how a small time record from 1993 was reissued. I hope his other records up until Shine get repressed also. And I love how it fits so much music into each side, which defies the notion that less music per record makes it sound better. It’s really about the mastering. I wish so many of my 50 minute records were single pressings.

Is this release also pressed on 180 grams? Cause I bought one today with the same cat.no. that is 180 grams, and no it's not the Ltd edition. Thanks

This LP sounds so so cool! clear and REAL WARM sound! Beautiful songs..

This really is, such wonderful and spellbinding music. And Jeri Heiden's cover art also, is so striking. I like it because the lady has such nice boobs, and they remind me of my lovely girlfriend's knockers. But the knife that she is holding looks a bit sharp and frightening though!!
