Burt was 35 or 36 at the time. Talia and Rocky himself were 29 or 30.
That is a ROUGH 36
No kidding! When it comes to the quote it's not the age, it's the mileage, Paulie looks like he's been around the world and back several times.
City miles.
36? Looks more like 56
The irony of his surname being Young adds good lols
I didn't know until he passed away that Burt Young was a United States Marine
And a boxer.
And an actor!
I only recently found out Talia Shire is a Coppola. But that makes sense.
Nick Cage is one too
Yea, some of the others I was aware of. Jason Schwartzman is another one.
His mother is Talia Shire
It’s interesting to be sure, I was surprised when I found out as well
Yo Pawlie!
Adrian!
Ya sister is with me. I'll call you out later. See ya
Talia looks like she could be the sister of the blueberry pancake girl from Pulp Fiction.
Who’s chopper is this?
Zed
Who's Zed?
Zed's dead, babye. Zed's dead.
I would love to know what Burt Young is looking at, when he was clearly supposed to be looking into the camera.
I have to assume it’s a pigeon.
He’s clearly looking into The Abyss.
It was a particularly sexy robot.
Hey yo, it’s cold outside Paulie.
Adrian!!!!
That first rocky is a phenomenally good film.
RIP Paulie
You’ll always be our best friend, Burt.
Burt Young 27 years old in this pic.
Just got out of high school
Burt in 1959 (19 yrs old). Guy was a boxer in the past when in the marines winning 32 of 34 boxing bouts.
Burt has one of the most iconic deliveries in acting. So under rated.
"Ya, uh mumble mumble something, eh, mumble mumble, alright, yous guys?"
My favorite with Pauly was at the end of 5, when Tommy the Machine Gunn knocked down Pauly for defending Rocky.
Rocky says, “Hey, you knocked him down. Now why don’t you try knocking ME down?”
GWD: “In the ring!!!! Tommy Gunn only fights in the ring!!!”
Rocky to Tommy: “well my ring’s outside”.
You knew it was about to go down. Love that scene.
That street fighting scene was dope. But damn it Sly - why did you have to make Rocky lose it all!!!
But Sly knows what he’s doing. Life isn’t fair and he knows that.
Watch Death Race 2000. A very young Sly, lots of car-nage and a total 70s vibe. Great flick!
Burt Young came out of the womb looking 50. Such a great actor his role on sopranos was great. One of the best sequences of the entire show.
burt looked homeless
Young sly looks like current Davie504
Talia looking fine!
"Yo! Like a hundred bucks!"
Along with Burgess and Carl, what an amazing cast!
Yes! Lest we forget Joe Spinell as Gazzo
Bert not so Young
Ngl, Burt Young creeped me out in that role, when I was a kid.
It really was a testament to his skill as an actor. It was incredibly easy for me to both pity and hate him at the same time.
Where’s his bass?
Which one is Burt?

Sly is like 4 2 4 9 with the fro.
This looks like the beginning of a particularly awkward porno scene. 🎥😅
“Take her to the zoo!”
Burt had an incredible episode in Sopranos.
I wish the franchise would’ve stopped after Rocky IV
Best movie and the one he should have stopped at,
Greatest love story ever told.

He reminds me of Frank Sobotka on the docks in The Wire
The actors both have that 35-going-on-50 look to them.
" she ain't retarded, she's shy, ya know"?
"Together, we fill gaps."
Yo Rock, take her to the zoo.
Hmmm…that hand on the neck seems to be a bit much. Maybe this shot was from Rocky VIIIIII - Rocky vs Adrienne - “Yo Adrienne, I’m gonna squeeze that neck sooo hard.”
TIL she is the sister of Francis Ford Coppola and related to Nicolas Cage! xD
Post Malone anyone?
Imagine being so beautiful that "little-boy bowl cut" is a legitimate hairstyle option and not an invitation to be laughed at.
I’m sure Talia Shire imagined that
She doesn't have to imagine it; it's her reality. Rocky's taste in women was flawless.
